About me

I am a spinner, weaver, and dyer based in Cirencester, in the heart of Gloucestershire. My work grows from a lifelong fascination with mythology, fairy tales, and history, and with the power of traditional textile skills passed down through generations. Using natural fibres and plant dyes, I work slowly and by hand, drawing thread from fleece, colour from leaf and root, and cloth from patience and practice.

I offer public workshops and one-to-one teaching on spinning and weaving. Details of the workshops can be found in the Workshops area of my website.

I am also available for public speaking engagements on the history of textiles, folklore and mythology. 

I work on commission for those who are looking for a unique piece of textile artwork, or the perfect hand-spun yarn for your project.
